About the Guest Book Puzzle
An ampersand wedding puzzle is a variant of a Natural Wedding Puzzle Guest Book Puzzle. In this puzzle type there is a Large Ampersand cut as a puzzle piece in the center of the puzzle. The large ampersand could be used as a photography prop during an engagement photography session. This puzzle type, which is frame-able, can be easily signed by guests on the front or the back of each puzzle piece. Although most clients prefer to sign on the front of the puzzle to show the signatures when it is framed.
Customize your Ampersand Wedding Puzzle
Choose a Piece Count:
Piece counts of 10 – 220 sign-able pieces are available for the puzzle type. The recommended amount of sign-able pieces that you need for a ampersand wedding puzzle is based upon the number of guests you have attending your event. Typically we recommend 70-80% of the total guest count. This is because most of the times couples sign together, children do not sign, and single people sign for themselves. On the complete flip side of the token we have had clients order one piece per. guest or more for entertainment as well the puzzle being a guest book.
Choose Your Special Cutout Silhouettes:
- Choose two names.
- Choose two names and 3 shapes.
- Choose two names & the date.
- Choose two names and 2 shapes.
- Choose the date and 3 shapes.
Choose the Number of Pens:
Select the number of pens you would like included with your ampersand wedding puzzle. The first pen is free. We recommend one pen for every 25 or so guests. We currently only stock black pens.
Select Your Choice of Signs:
Select the type of sign you would like to be included with your ampersand wedding puzzle. There are two type of signs that are available. A basic square sign is included with the puzzle and has a message so your guests know to sign a piece. The premium sign is much larger and more decorative. You also have the option of having the premium sign engraved with your two names.
Add Stamping:
By default “Sign Other Side” will be stamped on the back of every piece so guests know which side to sign and no signatures are lost when the ampersand wedding puzzle is framed. This is matter of preference, some of our past clients prefer it some do not. If you do not want stamping enter NO STAMPING with in the details box.
The Order Notes Box:
Enter your customization details within the Order Notes box on the Checkout Page, such as your two names and the date. Make sure the information is correct that is entered into this field, we copy and paste directly from this field when we are doing designs and layouts, double check your spellings please. Enter (None) if you want no customization on your ampersand wedding puzzle. For example:
Rachel & Ross 8.23.16 NO STAMPING
Puzzle Piece Sizes:
Each piece of an ampersand wedding puzzle is much larger than normal wood jigsaw puzzles pieces at roughly 1.50″-2.5″ square. This is so guests can sign the back of the puzzle piece and leave a message. Puzzle size is based upon that number.

How long does it take to ship within the U.S.A.?
From our workshop to your doorstep takes less than week under normal working conditions. We use Priority Mail as our primary go-to domestic shipping service, so normal shipping times within the U.S.A. are 1-3 Days. We are located in New Jersey so all of our East Coast clients tend to get their orders in a 0-1 Days. Central states such as Texas receive their orders 1-2 Days. Our clients located on the West Coast receive orders in 2-3 days. Clients of our neighboring states such as New York, Pennsylvania, Delaware, & Maryland have on receiving orders within 24 hours of being shipped.
How long does it take to receive my order if I am outside of the U.S.A.?
From our workshop to your doorstep typically takes 2-4 weeks. Although have had some international clients report receiving their orders within 9 days. We use First Class International as our primary go-to international shipping service. In our experience the basic rule of thumb is if you live in or close to a major city you will receive your order faster than normal.
