Creating a custom wood jigsaw puzzle using an image you provide is a collaborative process. Many people have used them for gifts, entertainment, stocking stuffers, wedding presents, and one of a kind gifts. When we make each puzzle we take into account who is receiving the puzzle and who is giving the gift. The persons interests are that is receiving the puzzle and what the occasion is. Its personal. The most unique aspect that we have found with making a wood jigsaw puzzle is clients get to tell a story within the puzzle and make a memory.
The story for this particular puzzle is the groom was looking for a different kind of way to celebrate and anniversary. He then contacted us and we started making the puzzle after we received the image. The groom specifically requested the figure pieces faith, love, and hope carved as figure pieces in the puzzle. Those three words had a significant meaning to the two of them and carried value throughout their marriage.
What are Figure Pieces or “Silhouette” pieces?
A figure piece is a specialty carved out piece within a wood jigsaw puzzle that can be shaped like anything! The wood jigsaw puzzle piece could be a cat, a dog, the logo for your company, a set of words, a date that you met your spouse, a favorite hobby, a pastime, the name of a pet, the names of your kids, initials, sports that you like…the possibilities are endless! This is really the fun part. When you purchase a wood jigsaw puzzle as a gift for someone or even for yourself I ask that you tell me about yourself a little bit in the “Order Notes” at checkout. A short few paragraphs will assist me in designing your silhouettes and figure pieces. I then cut those pieces into your puzzle!
Ok Great! So what size is this wood jigsaw puzzle?
Sizes vary for this category based upon the piece count selected:
120-150 Pieces 8.5″ x 11″ to 10″ x 13″
160-200 Pieces 10″x 13″ to 11″ x 17″
What is Style & Cut?
Style refers to the edge and corner style of the outside of the puzzle. The choices are strait edges with square corners, strait edges with round corners, and scalloped (…as shown in the images above…) The cut refers to the types of connectors we cut when making the wood jigsaw puzzle. Classic round knob or ear-let which is shaped like a heart.
What about Packaging?
Our puzzle packaging comes in two different variants. One variant is with the image printed on the label that the wood jigsaw puzzle was made from. The second variant is with a label that has no image at all and the assembler has no idea what they are getting! It is really up to you as the buyer to decide what kind of packaging label would like & how much you want to drive the person crazy receiving the wood jigsaw puzzle gift!
Can I send it as a gift?
Sure no problem! Specify at checkout that this is gift for a family member or friend within the “Order Notes” you can also add a few blurbs about the figure pieces you would like to have cut into your puzzle in this same location. Then click on the “Ship to Different Address” box right below that. Then enter your recipients information.
How do I send you my image?
Very easily. Once you choose your piece count go ahead and place your order. Once your order is placed within the “My Orders” section on this website you will be given the option to upload your image for a wood jigsaw puzzle. Then your done!
We used this at our baby shower, all the quest loved it. It was hard to put together but once together we glued and framed for our son!

This order came with a Micron black archival pen (so it would work and will not fade.) thank you!

How long does it take to ship within the U.S.A.?
From our workshop to your doorstep takes less than week under normal working conditions. We use Priority Mail as our primary go-to domestic shipping service, so normal shipping times within the U.S.A. are 1-3 Days. We are located in New Jersey so all of our East Coast clients tend to get their orders in a 0-1 Days. Central states such as Texas receive their orders 1-2 Days. Our clients located on the West Coast receive orders in 2-3 days. Clients of our neighboring states such as New York, Pennsylvania, Delaware, & Maryland have on receiving orders within 24 hours of being shipped.
How long does it take to receive my order if I am outside of the U.S.A.?
From our workshop to your doorstep typically takes 2-4 weeks. Although have had some international clients report receiving their orders within 9 days. We use First Class International as our primary go-to international shipping service. In our experience the basic rule of thumb is if you live in or close to a major city you will receive your order faster than normal.
