My beautiful wife in all of her glory is a photographer at heart. She loves taking pictures of anything she can point her camera at but most of all children. With that in mind for an upcoming photo shoot, that she had booked, she informed me that she was considering buying a prop bed. “What is that,” I said. I took a look at the picture and told her there was no need for her to buy it. I could make it for her in the Wall Woodworks shop. And so I did.The photo that I have here is right before the final glue up. Her plan was to paint it to match the color scheme that she was gong to be using in the photo shoot that day. So I made it from reclaimed pine. A feature of note on this item is that the head and foot of the bed are detachable so it can be easily stored away or taken apart for transport.
