Living in a small home can be a challenge, especially when there isn’t much storage space. I have looked at the stand up cabinets for a bathroom but those didn’t meet our needs due to the fact that the baseboard heating wraps around behind the toilet. If it had legs the cabinet would be off the wall. So to meet all of our needs I was off to the Wall Woodworks shop to build this for our bathroom.
The crown molding is a little large for most but I like those sort of things. The neat trick is the storage space extends all the way too the top of the crown molding, so the cabinet is much larger than it appears. Perfect too fit those over sized shampoo bottle my wife likes too buy.
The cabinet itself is narrow, about 10″ or less finished. The three shelves are adjustable inside the cabinet, I drilled many holes in all four corners spaced roughly 1 inch apart. The inside of the cabinet is clear coated. Cabinet construction was fairly simple. Starting with a rabbited carcass and rabbited face frame. The doors themselves are tongue and groove with a thin panel in the center.
