Well its finally done. The hinges are installed and work properly. I decided to use a satin finish instead of high gloss and the interior is lined with velvet. The bark inclusion on the inside of the box blows my mind. One of the most interesting items I have ever made. Its one of a kind, due to the character of the material. The cherry hinges were well worth the time figuring out how to make which are shaped like paws.
